Tyler's birthday celebration!

For Tyler's birthday this year i wanted to do something different that we had never done before.. i also wanted for us to get out of the house and just spend some time with each other. so i booked us a suite at the Radisson hotel just down the road with a package called the "spring break package." It included a nice dinner with free drinks, this amazing king sized sleep number bed and a free breakfast buffet the next morning. Tina and i checked in early so we could set the place up prior to Tyler's arrival. we put rose petals all over the bed and on the floor leading up to it. here are the pictures of the room upon Tyler's arrival.

After we checked into the hotel i had one more really sweet surprise for Tyler. i had purchased tickets for a 3D IMAX showing of Rio. It was snowing really hard when we went to the movie so i didn't get any really good pictures of the movie theatre. but i did get a couple of Tyler playing in the arcade after the movie..

after getting back to the suite, we decided to make our way down to the hot tub for a relaxing soak in the snow! Tyler and i just love hot tubs!

after about an hour in the jacuzzi we were ready to move onto the pool. once we got in the pool room, i was feeling so relaxed  i didn't end up swimming. but ty seamed like he had a great time splashing around!

i spent about an hour watching ty splash around in the pool before we started getting really sleepy, and admittadely anxious to try out the awesome sleep number bed. Tyler and I both really like our beds soft.. so we had our settings at like, 20. as you can see below.. we really sunk into the mattress. it was so cool. we felt like the bed was eating us! we want one of these beds so bad!

 Ty and i didn't have to checkout until two because i had requested late checkout for us.. but after breakfast we both felt like we needed to be home with Laylee for her first easter. these were some pictures of Laylee, easter morning taken by Tina. she looked so cute.. our happy lil' bug.

All in all it was a very relaxing Saturday and a great easter for us. i was so happy Tyler liked his birthday surprise outing. Hope you guys enjoyed the new updates!!
